Laravel Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Laravel Developer who can design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern PHP development, with additional knowledge of Vue.js or Symfony considered a valuable advantage. This role requires someone who is comfortable using AI-driven development tools, follows SOLID principles, and consistently delivers clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Laravel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, front-end developers, business analysts, and QA engineers.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services into applications.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code aligned with SOLID principles and best practices.
• Optimize application performance and identify and resolve issues.
• Utilize AI-driven development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Stay updated with Laravel, Vue.js, Symfony, and AI-based development trends.

Core Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain modular code structures and reusable components.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Create and maintain documentation for developed features and system processes.
• Support deployment processes and assist in troubleshooting production issues.

Required Skill Set:

Technical Skills:

• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals including Classes, Interfaces, Traits, Polymorphism, Inheritance, and Abstraction.
• Deep hands-on experience with Laravel (v8+) including Eloquent ORM, Queues, Events, Jobs, Policies, and the Service Container.
• Strong MySQL skills including complex queries, joins, indexing, optimization, subqueries, query builder, and raw SQL.
• Good understanding of RESTful API development and authentication using Passport, Sanctum, or JWT.
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Understanding of modular architecture and design patterns such as Repository and Service layers.
• Experience writing and maintaining unit and feature test cases.
• Knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL and query optimization techniques.
• Clear understanding and practical application of SOLID principles.
• Ability to work with AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Tabnine.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Domain Expertise:

• Experience with Laravel development in scalable and production-ready applications.
• Understanding of modern application architectures such as MVC and microservices.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good communication skills to translate technical concepts into clear requirements.
• Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks.

Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Work Experience: Proven experience working with Laravel and modern PHP development.
Additional experience with front-end frameworks or cloud technologies is a plus.
