As is well-known by now, Android 13 brings new features to Android phones and tablets. Tiramisu was the internal code name for Android 13 for all you dessert lovers. We’ve been experimenting with it for a few weeks, and compared to Android 12, it’s more of an evolution. Also, it’s in beta right now. Google will likely release the final version in late August or early September. We have gathered some of the new features here.<\/p>\n

Color palettes and “cinematic” wallpaper<\/strong><\/h6>\n

With Android 13, we have access to many fresh palettes for removing colors from wallpaper. Also, Google provides users and Android manufacturers with three additional color schemes. Thus, it is in addition to the current so-called “tonal spot” colors.
\n“Vibrant” differs only slightly in supplementary accents. “Expressive” offers a variety of colors. Thus, it is even extending to colors not seen in the background. And, “spritz,” is a desaturated, nearly monochromatic theme. These themes are finally available to users in Beta 1 in the shape of 16. Hence, it is additional to color extraction options in your wallpaper picker<\/p>\n

Group Chats in Encryption<\/strong><\/h6>\n

\"Group<\/p>\n

Rich Communication Services are now available in Google’s Messages app. Hence it has improved texting and image sharing over Wi-Fi. Also, it comes with benefits like typing indications. And, they let you know when someone is replying. End-to-end encryption is now available for group chats on Android 13.<\/p>\n

Expanding on Google’s Material Android 13 provides more colors in settings. And, it is a part of your concept to enable further personalization. There are currently four wallpaper colors and four basic colors available.<\/p>\n

However, Android 13 will offer 16 variations of each. To access the new color theme options, simply tap and hold on an empty area of the home screen. Or, go to Settings and select Wallpaper & style. There ought to be more themed icons now if you toggle on Themed icons. It’s not only Google and system app icons\u2014Google is encouraging other developers to make them.<\/p>\n

Increased Privacy<\/strong><\/h6>\n

\"Increased<\/p>\n

Android 13 has made modifications that restrict the data your apps can access. First off, media files will be divided into the image, video, and audio categories. You don’t need to give access to every one of your photographs when using the new photo picker. Instead of letting an app search through your whole library, you may limit which images it can access. Up until recently, allowing an app to scan for nearby Wi-Fi devices required giving it permission to track your location. Thank goodness, a distinct Nearby Wi-Fi Devices permission option is now available.<\/p>\n

Finally, Google’s new wallet<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Google Wallet is making a comeback with Android 13. It aims to be your digital wallet for anything from payment and loyalty cards. Also, it can work with hotel keys, vaccination cards, transportation, and even IDs. It’s meant to be a safe substitute for real cards. Thus, it will allow you to transmit information and let you leave your physical wallet at home. Together with Google Pay, Google Wallet will be accessible across all Google’s other apps.<\/p>\n
